linux-powerpc-e500 software package provides Complete Linux kernel on Freescale Power e500v1 and e500v2., you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install linux-powerpc-e500
